Project Access Resource Centers has appointed Annette Lopez as its new Marketing and Communications Director for our non-profit organization based here in Orange, California. Before assuming her new role with Project Access, Annette was Director of Marketing for Celluphone in Cerritos, California, responsible for digital and traditional marketing efforts, store openings (location selection, vendor contracts for signage and fixtures, store layout, merchandising, social media, and grand opening), and ongoing retailer marketing support, plus lead generation through direct mail, social media, and paid search for Celluphone to attract more wireless dealers.

While at Celluphone, Annette helped launched several businesses, including UltraMobile (branding, merchandising, dealer portal, packaging), now part of TMobile.
Instrumental in designing and launching web properties for UltraMobile, Ice Mobility, and Catalyst Business Innovations, Annette also developed direct mail/web marketing programs that continuously produced leads for Celluphone to engage with independent wireless retailers to sell Verizon services.

Annette’s nearly 20-year career experience in marketing includes developing direct/web marketing programs that delivered 300 leads per mailer or program and secured 2-3 independent retailer sign-ons, averaging 3% ROI on each campaign (above the industry average). She also possesses a solid and valuable understanding of economic, financial, and marketing concepts and strategies with results and ROI based on analytics.

“Annette is an ideal addition to Project Access as we work to expand our brand presence and create greater market awareness of what we offer and do at nearly 100 resource centers in 16 states across the nation,” says Kristin Byrnes, President, and Chief Executive Officer, of Project Access Resource Centers, in announcing Lopez’s appointment. “We look forward to having her help us generate greater market share by telling our story in new and innovative ways.”

In addition to holding a degree in graphic design from Brooks College in Long Beach, California, Annette speaks fluent Tagalog (one of the original languages of The Philippines) and is an accomplished graphic artist. With her deep experience in marketing mobile platform services, she possesses expertise in Google Analytics, AdWords, web analytics, digital marketing programs, websites, and mobile apps.

“The core mission of Project Access, to assist at-risk families and ensure they have the resources to thrive, is more important than ever before,” said Lopez upon entering her new role and organization. “I’m excited to join Project Access and am eager to help the organization grow and expand while gaining wider recognition for its great private sector and non-profit cooperation model.”
