We’re happy to announce that James Le has been named Senior Director of Development for Project Access Resource Centers. In consultation and partnership with Kristin Byrnes, CEO & President of Project Access, Le will lead, manage, and direct fundraising, special events, and brand awareness and provide strategic leadership and management in critical areas.

Before assuming his new role, Le was Director of Marketing for Project Access from 2019 to 2022, responsible for increasing its social media footprint and overseeing highly successful fundraising and awareness-generating events. Le has also acted as a spokesperson for Project Access.

A familiar face in the non-profit community in Orange County and beyond, Le started his non-profit career at Project Access in 2007 and was consistently promoted over eight years until being promoted to Director of Marketing. His background with the organization has provided him with a well-rounded portfolio of work experiences, including managing staffing, programs, and services in 10 resource centers, providing ongoing supervision and coaching of staff, facilitating programs that focus on resident health, education, and employment, and fostering relationships with schools, partners, and donors to support new and existing programs.

From 2016 to 2019, Le was Marketing Manager for Hope Builders, an Orange County-based non-profit nationally recognized for its program that provides 18-28-year-old young adults with the skills needed to secure quality jobs with regional employers who are seeking vetted and dependable employees. Le was responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of Hope Builders’ communication and marketing strategy.

“We’re proud and delighted to have James step into this vital role for Project Access as we become more aggressive in sharing the good works and accomplishments of the organization,” said Kristin Byrnes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Project Access Resource Centers. “His deep knowledge and hands-on experience with our brand make him ideally suited to lead a comprehensive strategy that identifies prospects, donors, businesses, and community partners to enhance our short-and long-term diversified funding base.”

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), Le is well-credentialed for his new role at Project Access. He possesses strategist certification, is on the board of Aeron’s Foundation (helping to build a future free from the suffering caused by sudden unexpected infant death known as SUID), and is Service Vice President for the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity.

“Project Access has always benefited from great partners, donors, and collaborators, and I look forward to taking our fundraising efforts to the next level with appealing programs and opportunities that will positively affect our communities and residents,” said Le upon commenting on his new role. “I’m excited to continue with Project Access in this new role to build stronger communities and secure the stability of families.”
