On Tuesday, July 26, over 210 children and adults from 13 Project Access communities participated in the Annual Angels Baseball Back to School Event featuring a visit to Angel Stadium thanks to our friends, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Representing the Southern California cities of Anaheim, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, La Habra, Mission Viejo, and Santa Ana, our Project Access youth enjoyed an unforgettable visit to one of Southern California’s premier sports destinations.

Under perfect blue skies and sunshine, everyone enjoyed a rare on-field visit, photo opportunities, tours, music, and a generous tote bag filled with school supplies, new shoes, Angels gear (hat, socks, and a hoodie), and food items provided by Second Harvest Food Bank.

From all the smiles in these photos, the visit was a definite homerun with kids and adults alike. Once again, we thank the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for their hospitality and generosity. Go, Angels!
