Meet Anne – a 94 year old resident at Golden West Tower in Torrance, California.

When news of COVID-19 surfaced and safer at home orders were put into effect, Anne wasn’t sure how she would adjust to this new normal. How would she get essentials like food and medicine if she can’t leave her apartment? Who can she depend on since she has no immediate family?

Fortunately, Anne lives in a community with a Project Access Resource Center. Our programs have created a family that supports Anne during these challenging times.

With limited physical mobility and no transportation, Anne is grateful to have multiple food deliveries to her doorstep every week. Our team regularly checks-in on her to make sure she has everything she needs. On a recent call, she asked for Tylenol to help manage her arthritis pain. Since receiving that support, she is sleeping better at night.
