Words From CEO & President
Kathy McCarrell, MSW

What an incredible year we had in 2016!  We opened 8 new Family Resources Centers expanding our reach in Riverside, Ontario, Oakland, Phoenix and opening our first two properties in Atlanta, Georgia thanks to the support of the developers who believe in the quality of programs that we provide.  As a result, we shattered our goal of serving 13,000 children, families and seniors by 1,000 additional residents. We now have 80 incredibly high-quality staff members working hard every day to support our residents across the country. I couldn’t be more proud of them.

Another very exciting development this year is the addition of a new support group made up of wives of professional athletes that have dedicated themselves to helping us raise funds to support our early learning programs. Headed by Sirpa Selanne (wife of retired Anaheim Duck Teemu Selanne), the wives are putting together a “Casino Night with Cache,” keep an eye out for more news on the event that will be scheduled for this fall.

In summary, it has been a great year, and I would like to quote William Wordsworth in honor of all those who have made our work possible and the fabulous staff members who impact the lives of our residents every day:

“The best portion of a man’s life is,

His little, nameless, unremembered acts

Of kindness and of love.”

Your kindness has not gone unnoticed. Thank you!

Words from our Partners
“There is no question that the Project Access Resource Center has contributed to the stability of Warwick Square Apartments in Santa Ana by helping us to reduce vacancy and turnover. I believe the center’s impact has been a major contributor to revenue growth and expense mitigation. The Resource Center has also helped us to achieve one of our major goals of creating a sense of ‘community’ and a sense of ‘home’ for our residents. The stability factor with our residents – turn-over and quality tenants who care for the place in which they live, just seems to get better every year.”
- Danuel Stanger,  Chief Asset Officer,  Bridge Investment Group Partners
