NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 11, 2016 – Nonprofit Project Access racked up over $19,000 to support its Education for Youth Program at the organization’s recent Annual Bowling for a Cause fundraiser at Bowlmor Lanes in The District at Tustin.
Project Access provides vital on-site health, education and employment services to low-income families, children and seniors. The organization’s goal is to help keep family members employed, children in school and seniors active.
Sponsoring the event at the Take a Spare $1,000 level were the Elizabeth Do Team and the Fresh Prints photo booth. The 7-10 Split Sponsors at $500 each included Brainy Actz, Bridge Property Management, Integrity Housing, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of the West Wealth Management, STEADFAST Companies and Paula E. Meyer & Associates, APC.
Providing in-kind sponsorships were Bowlmor Lanes, Chick-fil-A, Farmer Boys, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, In-N-Out, Luna Rossa, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at The District at Tustin Legacy, and The Westin South Coast Plaza.
“We are delighted with the results of this year’s tournament and thank our generous sponsors and teams for their valuable contributions,” said Project Access CEO & President Kathy McCarrell.
“The funds we raised will help to support our Education for Youth Initiative, which includes school readiness for preschool-age children, after-school tutoring and enrichment programs for youth and teen programs,” she said. Incidentally, the organization also received $27,500 in donations through the recent i♥oc Giving Day.
